For sizing, measure your natural measurements - the bust and waist of the gown should be about 1" larger than your natural measurements. Also measure from your waist to your floor to check the length of a gown. If worn with a 4-bone hoop, the effective length will be about 2" shorter then the skirt length posted.

• Vintage Mike Benet gown. This gown is NOS, tags still attached, but needed to be dry cleaned so the tags were removed for cleaning. The bodice is lined and boned, with elasticized shoulders to be worn on or off the shoulder. The skirt has three layers - netted self-crinoline, a turquoise acetate underskirt, and a sheer turquoise over skirt. Pictured over 6-bone hoop H600. Also available with 4-bone hoop H400 for a less full skirt.

• Condition: Very Good, slight nick to the fabric beside the lower zipper, appears to be from a zipper catch. A large mar remains on the back skirt lining after dry cleaning. Photos show the skirt lining, and the skirt with the chiffon overlay over the mar.
